Alex Whitacre is pursuing her Master’s in Anthropology and Library and Information Sciences at USF. As an aspiring archivist and anthropologist, Alex is passionate about using collaborative methodologies to record and preserve the history and stories within communities. Alex has been a long-term volunteer with THJCA working directly with our youth on research methods, storytelling, and the curation of their own “museum”at their community center. Alex is also helping the organization archive, organize, and display their impact through an in-depth analysis and outreach strategy.
