David Trayte

Technical Preservation Services Division, National Park Service

David Trayte joined the National Park Service in 2017 and serves as a supervisory architect in the Technical Preservation Services Division. David works with a team of colleagues in facilitating the federal rehabilitation tax credit program and providing technical guidance to the public. Prior to joining NPS, he has worked for a preservation architecture firm in Cleveland and the City of Chicago Historic Preservation Division. His professional experience has focused on the adaptive rehabilitation of historic buildings across the country. David has a B.F.A. in architecture and M.F.A. in historic preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design.
