Jennifer Doherty currently serves as the Local Government Programs coordinator for the Massachusetts Historical Commission (SHPO), acting as a main point of contact for local commissioners, municipal staff, and other statewide partners on a variety of preservation issues. She has over ten years of experience in the preservation field, having worked as a consultant and municipal preservation planner and served on a local historical commission. She is a graduate of Sweet Briar College and has Master’s degrees in Preservation Studies from Boston University, and Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
