Paula Stark is a children’s author, a Main Street Executive Director, former newspaper publisher, and a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 47th District in Central Florida. Representative Stark attended Florida Technological University (known today as University of Central Florida). In 2022, Ms. Stark filed to run for Florida State House of Representative for District 47 and won the election that November. Since 2012, Representative Stark has been the St. Cloud Main Street Executive Director. Paula Starks’s Main Street program began in 1999 and continues to encourage ongoing economic development in conjunction with historic preservation to bring recognition to downtown St. Cloud Florida. Representative Stark believes in a strong business community and shows how important it is to make sure business owners have what they need to be successful in Florida.
