Jessica attended NC State University where she received an undergraduate architecture degree. After working for a few architecture firms in New York City she received a masters degree in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute. Jessica worked with the City of New York’s Landmarks Preservation Commission for 6 years analyzing, researching, and designating new landmarks and historic districts. She began working for the City of Wilmington in 2022 where she has been expanding her knowledge of planning techniques, preservation regulation and the ability to work with new teams to create better, livable cities that acknowledge an inclusive past.
