Kate Singleton


Kate Singleton has 40+ years’ experience in historic preservation, downtown revitalization, and economic and community development. Most recently, Kate served as the City of Dallas Chief Historic Preservation Planner. She served as Executive Director for Preservation Austin, Senior Preservation Consultant for Post Oak Preservation, Chief Preservation Planner for Fort Worth, Planning Manager for Downtown Dallas, Inc., State Coordinator of the Arizona Main Street program and Main Street Manager in Waxahachie and Grapevine Texas. She is a consultant in Historic Preservation, Downtown Revitalization, and Economic Development. Preservation Dallas honored her with the city's highest preservation award, the Dorothy Savage Preservation Award.
