Ruben A. Acosta is a Deputy State Historic Preservation Officer and is the Bureau Chief for Historic Preservation at the Division of Historical Resources, Florida Department of State. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with his MFA in Architectural History, Ruben has worked in historic preservation for nearly ten years in Georgia, Nebraska, and Florida. Prior to serving as Bureau Chief, he was Survey and Registration Supervisor and managed the National Register and Certified Local Government programs in Florida.
