Ms. McDonald completed her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies with the University of Central Florida and Juris Doctorate with Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She is a 2022-23 National Trust Diversity Scholar, National Geographic Certified Informal Educator and member of the NAPC and ASPA. In her tenure with the National Register listed, Deering Estate, her role encompassed archive and collections management, museum curation and interpretation, print, multimedia, and broadcast presentation. Her ongoing work in historic preservation continues to advance documentation of locally and nationally significant historic heritage resources that illustrate community diversity and recognize the intrinsic impact of underrepresented groups.
