Jason worked as a naval architect before beginning his career in historic preservation. He is a licensed professional engineer, has a B.S. in naval architecture & marine engineering, an M.S. in ocean technology & commerce, an MBA, and an MA in historic preservation. Current president of the Wisconsin Association of Historic Preservation Commissions, Jason served on the City of Marinette Common Council for 7 years. He is familiar with the City's history and efforts the City has made to honor and incorporate the culture of the Menominee Tribe in municipal projects. As the Historic Preservation Specialist for Green Bay, Jason wrote the NRHP nomination for Mason Manor, a public housing project.
